our Troy, Ohio Manufacturing location. In this position, the
qualified candidate will be responsible to: Champion digital
transformation efforts on the Clopay's bespoke Shopfloor Control
System (SFC), fostering a culture of innovation and agility. Lead
initiatives to modernize legacy SFC modules and streamline
workflows using emerging technologies. Define and execute the
digital roadmap for smart manufacturing, integrating MES, SCADA,
IIoT, and AI/ML platforms. Partner with manufacturing, operations,
engineering, quality, and supply chain leaders to understand
business needs, pain points, and future requirements. Address
operational challenges through scalable, data-driven technology
solutions. Employ SDLC and Stage Gate methodologies -from concept
through launch. Develop and manage product roadmaps, project plans,
budgets, timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and
stakeholder reviews. Define and implement strategies for collecting
and analyzing data from various manufacturing systems to support
predictive maintenance, quality control, and real-time
decision-making. Manage and mentor cross-functional global teams,
including offshore development teams Oversee team performance,
resource planning, and career development. Manage relationships
with external vendors and service providers, including contract
negotiation and service quality oversight. Provide Ope-ex and
Cap-ex budget inputs and manage allocated budgets as required.
Qualifications: Over 10 years of progressive experience in
Information Technology or Manufacturing with at least 5 years in a
leadership role focused on manufacturing IT, manufacturing systems,
or industrial automation. Exceptional leadership and team-building
skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate technical teams.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire technical talent,
and drive strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders and collaborating
across departments to deliver enterprise-wide impact. Experience in
implementation and support of Manufacturing Execution Systems
(MES), PLC integration, or similar Shopfloor applications in a
complex manufacturing environment. Strong track record of
successfully managing complex IT projects from conception to
completion. Proficiency with various manufacturing systems and
technologies (e.g., barcode scanning, RFID, robotics, vision
systems). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) integration to
manufacturing operations is plus. Understanding of programming
languages and frameworks relevant to Shopfloor applications,
including VB (Visual Basic), .NET (C#), and AngularJS. SQL Server,
Oracle Database Understanding of data integration patterns between
IT and OT systems. Understanding of data analytics and reporting
tools within a manufacturing context is a plus. Strong strategic
thinking and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented with a
