qualified ER/Trauma RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202! Pay
Information $2,811 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine
and Trauma Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 3 years of Acute Care RN experience License:
Must hold an IN or Compact license Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH,
PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Flexibility with weekend requirements. Must
be able to work weekends based on unit needs. Should be comfortable
with the possibility of precepting and having students shadow
during assignments. Travelers are expected to make up any shifts
missed during the contract period. Floating to other units or
affiliate areas is a requirement for all travelers. Description:
Must have a flexible schedule for weekend shifts. Travelers will
need to work 50% of weekends in their contract. This position
requires interaction with students as part of a teaching facility.
Call-ins for any contracted shift will be required to be made up
within the pay period. If unable to make up shifts, adjustments
will be made at the end of the contract. For faster processing, all
travelers must have their licensing process initiated. Minimum
qualifications include experience with Level 1 Trauma and STEMI
cases. Skills needed include management and interpretation of
dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, and IV administration. Candidates should
be familiar with equipment such as IV pumps, monitors, and blood
transfusion devices. Isolation precautions and triage capabilities
are also necessary. Staffing ratios are typically 1:4, with patient
diagnoses including Level 1 Trauma and Stroke. Must meet all
certification and competency requirements as outlined.
