Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 3 years License: Certification as a Surgical Technologist Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA Certification Must-Have Skills/Experience: 3 years of experience in the field Certification as a Surgical Technologist BLS Certification Description: This position is for a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting. The role requires strong experience in a variety of surgical procedures. Candidates should have experience in general, orthopedic, spine, neuro, gynecological, ENT, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, and open heart surgeries. Weekday and weekend call requirements include 2 weekends of call in a 13-week period. The ideal candidate must be a positive, self-starter who can adapt to changing situations. Robotics training and experience with vascular or open heart procedures are preferred but not required. Surgical scrubs will be provided as part of the dress code. Candidates must be attentive and capable of anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
