Make a Difference
The Program Manager will provide coordination and oversight of the
Peer Recovery Team and may have direct clinical services
responsibilities. This position will provide day-to-day oversight
of clinical services and operations. The Program Manager will
ensure supervision of clinical staff and staff performance with
clinical and operations performance standards. This position will
work with multi-disciplinary teams including physicians,
leadership, and executive leadership. The Program Manager will
ensure exceptional patient experience and provide first-line
response to customer complaints. At times, this position will need
to travel to different sites of care within Indianapolis.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should demonstrate strong
relationship-building skills and communicate effectively with
different levels of professionals and leadership.
2 (two) year: For BHS designated programs Associate's Degree
(required)
4 (four) year Bachelor Degree (preferred)
In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of
experience and education will be considered.
3 (three) years of peer recovery, addictions treatment, or mental
health-related field experience is (required)
1 (one) year of relevant leadership experience is preferred.
Certified Recovery Specialist or Addiction Peer Recovery Coach is
required.
Current Indiana Driver's License is required.
Recognizes and commits to critical importance of customer
satisfaction (both internal and external customers) and with
Operationand Clinical Director dyads of assigned business unit
ensures the exceptional patient experience as reflected in strong
patientsatisfaction scores in their assigned business units. Serves
as a first line responder for customer complaints.
Provides oversight of assigned clinical program(s) including 24
hour per day accountability for program operations.
Supervises and appraises all program clinical staff and/or ensures
the provision of appropriate clinical supervision and appraisal
forall staff.
Coordinates program staff schedules and approves PTO requests.
Works with their assigned Operations Director in appropriate
disciplining of program staff.
Responsible for screening and selection of candidates for clinical
staff positions in their assigned program(s).
Provides input in the development of program specific policies and
procedures.
Works with their assigned program staff to achieve conformance with
all applicable regulatory, service line and networkperformance
standards and Behavioral Health Services'/Community Health Network
policies and procedures.
Provides input for budget development and with the assigned
Operations Director for their program achieves budgetary targets
forassigned area(s).
With the Operations and Clinical Director dyads assigned to their
program(s), ensures program quality, program specific
staffdevelopment and provides leadership in efforts to improve
organizational performance in their assigned program(s).
Participates with Operations and Clinical Director dyads assigned
to their program in the determination of annual
programobjectives.
Supports and participates in promotional and marketing efforts
within areas of program(s) served.
Assists with program modification and new program development and
implementation in their areas.
Other duties as appropriate and/or assigned.
