Engineering Pay Status: Salary, Exempt Job Summary The Process
Engineer will be responsible for the development and evaluation of
the facilities, selection of equipment, development of the plant's
mechanical control logic, and the commissioning of the plant. The
Process Engineer will be required to cooperatively develop
conceptual layout drawings, work with vendors to select and size
the equipment for various applications, and work in the field to
commission the plant following construction. Sagepoint Energy

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Calculate the mass and energy
balance of proposed facilities Develop process flow diagrams
Possess the ability to develop and evaluate piping and
instrumentation diagrams Review motor, valve, pipe, and instrument
lists Possess the ability to create conceptual layout drawings of
proposed facilities Develop facility budgets and schedules based on
the preliminary design prior to EPC and during operations of the
plants Work with third party engineering firms to review detailed
design of a facility Review third party engineering drawings for
accuracy and completeness throughout the design process Work with
equipment vendors to select and size the equipment necessary for
the process Support third-party engineering and Project Managers
during the construction process Review drawings set prior to final
release for construction Possess the ability to develop the control
narrative and mechanical control logic for the operation of the
facility Work with the subcontracted integrator and operations
staff on the commissioning of the facility Work with other
Sagepoint team members on the research and development of new
products or processes Continuous improvement of the facilities that
are online to increase efficiency, reliability, and optimize the
process and equipment Provide engineering review and documentation
to support the Management of Change (MOC) process Ability to travel
10 to 20% of the time Education/Experience is required when
indicated, desired otherwise. High School diploma, GED, or
equivalent. (Required) Bachelor's degree or related experience in
Mechanical, Biological Systems, or Process Engineering, or related
qualifications such as professional experience in wastewater,
waste-to-energy, or biological systems design, construction, and/or
operation. (Required) Experience with landfill renewable natural
gas (RNG) facilities is preferred. Physical Demand The physical
demands described next are representative of those that must be met
to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

minimal lifting (up to 50 lbs.), mostly desk work. Strength and
flexibility to work at a desk or provide facility support for up to
eight hours. Satisfactory performance of the essential duties of

well as fine motor skills (especially of the hands) and the
extended reach of arms. Walking, hearing, and sight are required.
Work Environment The work environment characteristics described
below are representative of those an employee encounters while
performing the essential functions of this job. While performing
the duties for this position, the employee is primarily located in
an office environment. While on project sites, the employee may be
exposed to wet or humid conditions and all-season outdoor weather
conditions such as extreme cold or extreme heat. The employee may
occasionally be asked to work in high/precarious places and/or
confined spaces, work within proximity of moving mechanical parts,
be around fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals,
animal manure, food waste products, biogas, may be subject to loud
noises and strong vibrations, and encounter frequent truck and
equipment traffic. Compensation Salary is paid on a bi-weekly basis
and will be consummate with the value and experience the candidate
brings to the role. In addition to base salary, compensation
includes the option to participate in company sponsored medical,
dental, and vision insurance plans and in a retirement savings
program as well as paid personal time off and holidays. You will
also be eligible for an annual bonus and participation in the
